Our Commitment

At Wells of Treasure Foundation, we are dedicated to serving four marginalized groups: single parents from low-income households, victims of domestic abuse, widows from underserved communities, and orphans from underserved communities.

These groups of individuals often unseen, unsupported and made to feel forgotten have become statistics:

  • 31.7% of single parents from low-income household are living in abject poverty
  • An estimated 736 million women have been victims of physical abuse and/or sexual abuse
  • There are 258 million widows in the world most of whom have been subjected to extreme traditional practices that have left them unsupported and traumatized
  • 153 million children around the world have lost a parent or both parents.

Our Initiatives

There is the possibility that there are more single parents, victims of domestic abuse, widows and orphans who have not been accounted for in the statistics. Wells of Treasure Foundation has 4 initiatives tailored to address the challenges faced by these groups of individuals:

Equip to Enrich

A scholarship program that assists single parents seeking to advance their education

Wholeness and Me

Supporting Victims of domestic abuse through workshops and therapy sessions to promote mental wellbeing and resilience.

Setup 4 Success

This program offers small business grants to help widows rebuild their lives after the loss of a spouse.

Start2Finish

A Youth development program for children and young adults in underserved communities.
