At Wells of Treasure Foundation, we are committed to restoring dignity, hope, and opportunity for widows, orphaned and vulnerable children across the United States and Africa.

We believe that every widow deserves the opportunity to rebuild her life with dignity, and every child deserves the chance to grow up safe, healthy, educated, and empowered. Through our two flagship initiatives: the EmpoerHER Initiative and the Treasure Child Initiative, we invest in sustainable solutions that strengthen families and transform communities.

Millions of widows and children in underserved communities continue to face significant barriers:

  • More than 258 million widows worldwide experience poverty, discrimination, social exclusion, or harmful traditional practices.
  • Millions of orphaned and vulnerable children face barriers to education, healthcare, nutrition, and protection.
  • An estimated 240 million children worldwide live with disabilities, many of whom experience limited access to inclusive education, healthcare, and essential services.
  • Poverty remains one of the greatest threats to children’s well-being, increasing the risk of hunger, exploitation, child labor, and interrupted education.
