At Wells of Treasure Foundation, our mission is to empower individuals and families by offering a safe haven and a range of comprehensive support  services that promote stability, resilience, and growth. We strive to break the cycle of poverty and abuse through holistic programs designed to uplift, educate, and inspire..

Empowering Survivors: Our goal is to educate and empower survivors of domestic abuse. We strive to equip them with the tools and knowledge necessary to break free from abusive cycles and live fulfilling independent lives.

Promoting Mental Health Awareness: We believe in the importance of mental health and emotional well-being. We aim to increase awareness, understanding, and appreciation for these crucial aspects of overall health. We offer resources, support, and coaching to help individuals manage their mental health effectively.

Expanding Our Reach: We aspire to extend our reach beyond our immediate community. We aim to make our services accessible to those who need them most, regardless of where they are located.

Ebele Okoye | President

Ebele Okoye is the Founder and President of Wells of Treasure Foundation, a visionary nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the overall quality of life of individuals from low-income households and underserved communities. With a deep passion for positive change, Wells of Treasure Foundation was established with the goal of empowering and equipping individuals to rise above difficult circumstances and live fulfilled lives. Under her leadership, Wells of Treasure Foundation has grown from a grassroot initiative into a transformative force that impacts the lives of widows and single parents from low-income households, domestic abuse victims and children from underserved communities. 

A dynamic leader and advocate, Ebele has 20 years of professional experience that spans across multiple sectors combining strategic insights with hands-on approach to driving meaningful change. Ebele holds a degree from the University of London and has gained numerous awards and certifications which she has leveraged to successfully become a Transformational Leader in the public, private and nonprofit sectors. 

 

She has successfully led efforts to build partnerships with community organizations and expand the organizations’ reach to serve more individuals and communities in need. Ebele’s dedication stems from personal motivation, fueling a lifelong mission to create a more equitable and just world. Through Wels of Treasure Foundation, she continues to inspire others to join the effort to support individuals who have been battered, to lead with compassion and a tireless commitment to making a lasting difference in their lives.

Andrea Rapier | Vice President

Andrea Rapier is an accomplished nonprofit executive with experience driving strategic  initiatives, building community partnerships and leading impactful programs. A US Army  Veteran who served during the Cold War and the Gulf War, Andrea’s passion is  dedicated to driving positive change. She brings a unique blend of visionary leadership  and operational expertise, having successfully served as a Vice president of Grenada  Association for Retired Persons (GARP), and Board member of the Grenada National  Trust. Andrea has fostered relationships with stakeholders across the public, private and  nonprofit sectors to create sustainable solutions.  

An alumni of Concordia University, Andrea is committed to lifelong learning and  community involvement through Board service and Leadership roles as an Educator  and Career Coach helping both students and entrepreneurs grow into their most  authentic selves and best performance.  

 

A mother of 6 and a daughter of a former parliamentarian, Andrea’s inherent and  learned business savvy has helped many nonprofit organizations achieve operational  efficiency and effective human resources management aimed at improving profitability.  Her grit and leadership is seen in her passion to advance equity through innovation  programs and advocacy across the Caribbean, the United States and Europe.

Anyela Maya | Secretary

Anyela is a seasoned administrative professional with a diverse background spanning roles as a legal assistant, clerk, and solutions center generalist. With expertise in managing complex office operations, handling sensitive legal documentation, and providing customer-focused solutions, Anyela brings a blend of precision, adaptability, and problem-solving skills to each position held.

As a legal assistant, Anyela developed strong organizational and research skills, managing case files, supporting attorneys with client preparation, and ensuring compliance with legal requirements. In the role of clerk, Anyela demonstrated a meticulous attention to detail in record management and data entry, contributing to efficient office workflows. Additionally, in the position of solutions center generalist, Anyela honed customer service and technical support skills, responding to inquiries with clarity and efficiency to meet a variety of client and team needs.

With a commitment to continuous learning and a proactive approach, Anyela excels in supporting team productivity and fostering a positive work environment.
